Dear RC 34 Members:

I am very pleased to be your new International Bulletin of Youth Research (IBYR) news editor for 2006-2010. For more than fours years now, this news bulletin is housed under our website (http://www.alli.fi/youth/research/ibyr/index.htm), which proves to be a great venue for updates and exchanges of youth-related information - be it about upcoming conferences or new publications. With your support, I shall continue to make use of this electronic medium in maintaining virtual relationship with the entire RC 34 membership and other interested individuals or organizations.

To get us going, I would like to encourage everyone to submit all inquiry, requests, announcements, publications and youth-related news to me at cbatan@hotmail.com.

Expect that in the next few weeks, I shall be putting-up a public-mailing list that would better facilitate the flow of correspondence among us.

In the meantime, I also would like to solicit your comments and suggestions on how to improve the IBYR and our website. The new RC 34 board would like your input, so as to make our website-based IBYR as efficient as possible.
